Meta Games Unlimited, in alliance with The Podge Cast and The Bear Swarm! Podcast, has agreed to host Veni, Vidi Venatus! If you're interested in playing out there, be sure to either post, PM or e-mail me at Rob@BearSwarm.com

Since this even coincides with Meta Game's annual charity canned-food drive (December 6th through 13th) there will be added swag and rewards for anyone who brings canned goods to donate. Details haven't been finalized yet but there will likely be free stuff and you'll likely get a special bonus in any games that night.

December 6th is also the start of Meta Game's "Savage Saturdays", a Savage Worlds Demo night, and we're proud to announce they will be joining in on this event as well! Savage Saturdays is going to be going on throughout December and the basics of it are that they will be running a short one-page adventure with pregenerated characters throughout the night for anyone who wants to learn.

There will be both planned events and pick-up games available. There are two time slots (1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm) in which GMs can sign up to run games. There will also be people available to run pick-up games throughout the day.

Remember, if you're interested in running something be sure to let us know!

Scheduled Events
Slot 1: 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm
GM: Matt | Game: 4th Edition
GM: Carl | Game: Battlestar Galatica
Slot 2: 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

I was going to run a Savage Worlds Project Mayhem Game (I may still do that), but for now I am definitely going to run a BSG game.

Most of us are planning on showing up around noon and hanging around till close-ish.

Its a pretty free-form event. No slots, start/end times, etc. Just a get-together and game kinda thing.

I would like to rough out some sort of a loose schedule so anyone off the street can plan to hop into the game they want.

/agree

My previous post was a bit mis-worded. I would also like to have a rough schedule for a few things for people to expect to see at set times as well as a few people who are just hanging around willing to do a pick-up group.
